I love working out. The feeling after you’ve accomplished a very hard workout is one of the best feelings in the world. It’s also an amazing stress release. While working out is amazing, sometimes it’s hard to fit it in. I recently discovered High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and am now obsessed!
HIIT workouts are usually 10 minutes but you are working very hard the whole time. When I feel like I don’t have enough time to do a full workout at the gym, I try to fit in 2 HIIT workouts and I’m usually sweating and exhausted after that 20-minute workout! The best part? You can do them from the comfort of your own home, and don’t need anything! (The only workouts you need extra equipment are the arm workouts BUT Rebecca Louise says you can use cans of food if you don’t want to purchase weights!! :)) I also love having Rebecca Louise encouraging me the whole way through, and telling me which muscles to isolate. This is so important for me because especially when I’m new to a particular exercise, I don’t know how it’s supposed to feel and which muscle groups should be activated. It’s really easy to injure yourself or not get the most our of the workout because you aren’t doing it correctly. This is one of the huge advantages of doing video workouts, because it’s a lot easier to do an exercise wrong if I’m reading it off a sheet of paper. Basically, I love HIIT’s and I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites for you to try!
Do you guys do HIIT workouts? Do you love Rebecca Louise as much as I do?! Let me know if you try any of these!
