Workout clothes are one of my favorite motivators for making me hit the gym! However, a lot of athletic apparel is a little too pricey for my budget. After sharing a few of my favorite affordable workout stores on Instagram, I thought I would do a post including all of them in one place.
This was surprising to me because Old Navy usually doesn’t have high quality or long-lasting clothing but their athletic apparel is on point! After having 2 separate fitness instructors tell me to check out Old Navy’s workout line, I decided to see for myself. The prices are right in my price-range and the clothes are pretty cute! You can easily fit into an XL or XXL in the kids section. I’m loving this pair of leopard leggings (picture above), and these floral leggings, and this #girlpower top! In the women’s section I love this purple pair of leggings, this white tank, and this magenta pair looks identical to a Lululemon version my friend has.
There is a ton of hype for Fabletics, the online activewear brand created by Kate Hudson. I LOVE their style, they are very cute and original. I definitely recommend trying them once for a trial of the VIP membership where you can get 2 pairs of leggings for $24 to see if you like it. I tried a similar deal with a top and leggings for $10. I loved the design (beautiful neon print above!) but I didn’t think the quality was as good as Old Navy or Nike. I have a few friends who really love the brand, so I think it’s definitely worth a try!
LIVE LOVE DREAM BY AEROPOSTALE
I love the LLD line by Aeropostale! This is another one that surprised me but I bought a pair of black leggings from them 3+ years ago and wear them usually once per week and they are still going strong! For only $15 for a pair of leggings, it’s a steal for such high quality! I also love this pair of grey leggings and this fleece hoodie.
LULULEMON & ATHLETA SALES
This might seem like a no-brainer but the Lululemon sale section is surprisingly difficult to find on the Lululemon website (and also called “we made too much” instead of “sale” or “clearance”)! The Athleta sales section is pretty good too! You have to keep checking every week or so because the items change so quickly but I’ve found tanks on there for under $30, which is pretty good considering they are usually pretty good quality!
